Spatial proteomics is a powerful approach that analyzes protein expression in different spatial locations by sampling at different locations within samples. Unlike traditional large-scale tumor tissue analysis, spatial proteomics enables the profiling of protein expression in different cells and functional regions within tissues. Compared to single-cell proteomics, spatial proteomics provides spatially-specific protein expression information.
1. Proteome analysis of functional regions of complex tissues
Regional dissection and proteomic analysis of the functional areas that make up complex brain tissue, cerebral cortex, hippocampus and the third ventricle, can deeply understand the function and activation state of neurons in different regions from the protein level.
2. Proteomic analysis of cancer tissue heterogeneity
The regional cleavage and proteomic analysis of cancer tissue and normal tissue on the slice effectively solved the heterogeneity of cancer samples, and revealed the abnormally activated pathways and potential therapeutic targets in cancer cells from the protein level.
